Based in Metro DC, I’m an editorial and wedding photographer with Chrisman Studios that lives and breathes photography! My passion for teaching began in 2004, and to this day, I love sharing my 15+ years of experience with other photographers.
I will help you understand that talent is not enough to succeed in the business of photography; technical knowledge of gear, passion, focus, practice and preparation are just some of the key elements for creating stellar images every time you pick up your camera.
During a live model shoot, I’ll will teach you simple, yet effective ways to add mood and drama to your next wedding or portrait session.
Please join me on Wednesday March 4th at 8AM for two hours of Speed Lighting!

See ya’ in Vegas!
The story is the most import part of a moving portrait. Dating back to the 1900’s, claymation is the grandfather of the moving portrait. Jump forward to the 21st century and we’re refining how to tell stories through stop motion.
We’ll begin the evening talking about storyboards and then go over the gear. We’ll be using a mix of available light, LED and flash to enliven the shoot. Next, we’ll head out to the strip and shoot up to ten different scenes, making sure to capture great movement and composition.
Join me Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30PM as together we create 500 stills to compose 45 seconds for a single moving portrait.
Space is limited to 20 spots and you can sign-up here http://bit.ly/
